Tomorrow Series - Bk. 1
Tomorrow, When the War Began
Tomorrow, When the War Began
By John Marsden
A simple trip away camping, turns into much more than then a group of teens bargained for. When they return home, they find their families gone, the town is in lock down, and is being occupied by people who were are less than friendly.
On discovering that Australia has been invaded by hostile forces, they have to choose to survive on their own in the wild, surrender or fight.
Follow Ellie and her friends across 7 action packed books that give a crash course of growing up and taking responsibility for your actions.
These books re-introduced 12 y/o me back into reading. Couldn't put them down, and still resisting to see the movie (I don't want the splendour of the books in my head shattered =).
An ALA Best Book for Young Adults.
There is also a sequel series, the Ellie Chronicles.
Warning: Most people do not find this Ellie Chron. as satisfying as the original series.
